A PPV showdown people have been talking for weeks about is finally set to commence when undefeated, former five-division champion Floyd Mayweather steps into the boxing ring with social media star Logan Paul for an exhibition match on Showtime PPV. The two will meet in the center of the ring live from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, in a match simply termed “bragging rights”.
The Florida commission announced on Wednesday that the contest will feature 8 three-minute rounds. Neither fighter will wear headgear and there will be no judges or official winner read. Knockouts will be legal and up to the referee’s discretion. Both fighters will wear 10-ounce gloves.
Mayweather has not fought professionally since 2017 a knockout victory over UFC star Conor McGregor — to run his record to a perfect 50-0. He has dabbled in the exhibition matches before this, scoring a first-round knockout over Tenshin Nasukawa in 2019, but this will be a much different test. Paul will stand a full six inches taller and weigh around 50 pounds more than the former pound-for-pound great when they enter the ring on Sunday night.

That’s because Jack was expected to face Jean Pascal in this co-main event slot, but Pascal tested positive for three different steroids as well as EPO ahead of the bout and was removed. Jack lost a split decision to Pascal to close 2019 but bounced back to beat Blake McKernan on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. Plus, former NFL star wide receiver Chad Johnson will make his debut in the ring when he takes on Brian Maxwell in an exhibition to open the event on PPV.
